An early-stage, alt-rock band that wanted to capture the chaos and emotion of their sound in a way that felt raw.
Rebel Wave crashed Couples Therapy’s garage practice session, capturing unfiltered moments as the band rehearsed and experimented. With vintage minimal equipment (Olympus F20 Camera) and no staged setups, the photos taken reflect the genuine grit and emotional core of the band. The messy, impromptu vibe of the rehearsal became a strength, lending itself perfectly to a dramatic, retro visual style. Through grainy textures, heavy shadows, and cinematic framing, the edits channel an early-2000s nostalgia that resonates with the band’s influences and aesthetic.
